A flash fiction (fanfiction) short story, written for The "Wuthering Heights" Reimagined Writing Contest by @Romance. This story is not eligible to win, but I couldn't resist the pull of writing something related to Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights :)

Beyond the river, there is a circus. The tent stands tall as the sky. It has stood for as long as anyone can remember. But now, people are forgetting. In a world full of reality, wonder is not what it once was. And a circus built of dreams is beginning to crumble.

She knows the issues of her mother's life and decides to mostly help her with her work. A life about a girl who has liked many boys but this one sticks. It's different when the guy talks and makes action first. Brooklynn experiences this and gets stuck in the past with problems that come up with her best friend and her old crush who ruined her mindset on couple relationship.
