"Phir aap yeh sawaal kaise pooch sakti ho?" A painful smile appeared on Muskan's lips. Tears gathered in her eyes, but she refused to let them fall. "Theek hai..." "Phir aap unse pyaar kijiye..." "Aur hum aapse karte rahenge." "Waise bhi..." "Na humne kabhi umeed lagayi thi ki aapka saath hume milega..." "Aur na hi ab rakhni chahiye." For a moment, neither of them spoke. The silence between them hurt more than any words. Raghav closed his eyes. Guilt weighed heavily on his heart. "Hume maaf kar dijiye, Muskan." "Hum aapse pyaar nahi kar paayenge." "Aapko humse bahut achha ladka mil jayega." Muskan smiled sadly. A smile that never reached her eyes. "Shayad..." she whispered. But deep down, she knew the truth. No matter how good anyone else was... They would never be Raghav. As she looked at him standing in front of her, loving someone else with his entire heart, a thought crossed her mind. "I never wanted you to love me back, Raghav. I only wished that once, just once, you would look at me the way you looked at her." 🥀✨ A thought she could never say aloud. I honestly don't know if Peter and I are friends, or that I want us to be. There is just something about him that makes me want to dislike him- his strange obsession with Peter Pan, his almost too perky nature, his complete lack of maturity, and his ability to show up at the worst of times- but then there are those moments when he doesn't seem to be himself, and that's when I begin to change my mind.

A few days ago, I had a dream. Not a revelation, or something new, but never the less it was a dream that sparked me to ask myself a lot of questions? This dream was very familiar. I knew what was coming to every detail. I had been here before over 50 years ago! It was a place I dreamed of as a young child. A place I was happy and familiar with, but very far from reality. It was not a nice place. It was old and dirty and people there lived a hard life. There was danger at every turn, or corner. The fears of a young child were vivid and felt so real. There was no one to protect you and adults treated you with contempt. You were inferior to the life that was going on around you and you had no idea why all these horrible things were happening? I remembered that I had visited this place on many, so many occasions, because the amount of detail and colours seemed more real than this world our bodies inhabit. This was a world of my mind as a child.
