Gwendolyn Greene is a perpetual dreamer who finds that lucid dreaming brings color to her otherwise mundane high school existence. Her essentially average dreaming experience is taken to another level however when she meets Max, an aberration of the dream world who can bend reality and who takes Gwen on adventures through the many holes and tears of the Dreamscape. The glitchy Sans whom has always loathed touch all his life has a brief moment of direct contact with Dream where everything changes. The light soft joyful touch of the positive one passed through physical contact was one of which for once didn't cause Error into a fleet of panic or fear...a touch that's rather addicting. What happens when Error mistakenly exploits the kindness of the guilty conscienced guardian? -------------💛💛-------------

Just a book I decided to make to dedicate to my beloved Error. I admit I have a problem with favoritism.

This sequel to my Insomnia story, please read the first if you haven't already: Expectations and a Golden Stitch. The battle is over for now...has been for a bit now. The multiverse still has the impacts rippling outward from the empty battlefield as it is transformed. Barriers are falling and the worlds merge together to make a Utopia-like land. Horror, Killer, and Dust get territories to enjoy their deepest dreams and desires, Farmer gets as many crops to grow as he wishes, Ink gets a space to create and play, Swap gets to relax, and everyone gets their new places to stay without trouble to consider...no expectations aside from being happy...And now the Destroyer, King of Negativity, and Maker of Chaos find themselves as rulers of the land. Everything is so wonderful but at the price of the Dream they loved most. What had happened to the guardian of positivity? Well, he's challenging all the expectations placed upon him and his loved ones, creating a new form of the multiverse. But will he be able to find a way home to them? And what kind of multiverse will be waiting for him when he returns? Will the changes last or is it a matter of time until it reverts back to the same old cycle and expectations? Is a role all there's left for them? Read to find out.

Dream always felt the weight of expectations on his shoulders and they've only grown worse now that he's a Star Sans. Save this AU, rescue that person, stop Nightmare over there, and make X person smile! It's a never-ending cycle of tasks and he gets asked more about why he hasn't done it sooner or defeated his brother yet than thanked for what he accomplished. He feels trapped in this position and doubts if he didn't have his positive aura that anyone would care for him. Most like him for the joy he brings or what he can give them. Nobody around him ever feels genuine without a doubt in his head. Add in the stress of protecting one Star Sans(Swap) and keeping the other(Ink) from starting trouble and you have a positive guardian ready to break under expectations. Then you have Error, the destroyer of AUs. His reputation speaks for himself and builds all the expectations he needs whenever he steps foot into another AU. He's as bad an omen as a black cat crossing your path. Others assume he is bad because of his "freakish" or glitching appearance. He has accepted these but it gets tiring when he already has the voices bossing him around or Fate reminding him that he should do more destruction. But he doesn't limit himself to destruction. He watches UnderNovela, admires the stars, and appreciates what he can. He pushes the limits of what is expected of him or disregards them completely. A trait that Dream eventually finds himself admiring in him, the known enemy of his friend. He knows that Error's feelings are genuine since he doesn't change in his presence(still an angry manchild). So when Dream gets wounded and stuck with Error on a whim, where will it take them? Will it be a mistake remaining in a hatred of enemies or will it change them both for the better? Could this admiration open Error up to corrupting Dream or will he be the influence Dream needs to against expectations and live for himself?
