It felt like all the butterflies had just died, leaving me with only a faint memory of what it felt like to be in love. We both looked at each other. Both wanting to just hug each other and apologize but our ego won't allow such a thing to occur. So instead of being honest, we acted like we didn't care. But anyone could tell that deep down inside we cared. We cared so much.. Love is a complicated thing when it comes to Makayla McLain and Chris Peterson. Both develop an undying love for the other and through the various troubles life has thrown at them, they always ended right back together again.
