**REWRITTEN VERSION OF DREAMING ALONE** This world- so liberal with their praise to your face, but covertly hungering for your downfall. Once upon a time, I was a hero. I wasn't one for the attention or the admiration associated with the role- rather, I was a hero, simply because no one else was willing to be. I gave and gave and gave, until there was no more of me left to give. Then, having outlived my usefulness, I was cast aside, left to walk this crumbling plank into the uncertain darkness, driven into a dead end. Forced to walk a path no demigod would ever want to take, forced to give up a life that I had sacrificed so much for. I'm sorry, Mom. To most, the moon is just an orb in the sky that brings light, tides, beauty. But for some people it unleashes something that they call a monster. Remus Lupin is one of those people. Whenever the full moon is out, he can't look at it and all it's beauty. Not anymore, at a young age, Remus was bitten by a werewolf. Fortunately, his twin sister wasn't infected. She was already cursed. Ashlynn Lupin dreams. Sometimes her dreams are of rainbows, and unicorns, and peanut butter. But sometimes she sees terrible images of wars, or a creepy looking dude with no nose. And those dreams seem so real, sometimes the poor girl can't tell the difference between those dreams and reality. And after her brother was attacked, her dreams were reality. When she dreamt of someone attacking her brother, turning him into a Werewolf, she always thought it was a stupid stupid dream. But that wasn't the case. It was true, and she couldn't do a thing about it. She couldn't tell the difference between what was just her minds crazy hallucinations, or her real life. She couldn't do a thing about it. So she didn't do anything about it, it could be useful in the future, right? But there was one thing that she KNEW she could do, protect her brother. And thats what she did. But when they boarded the Hogwarts express, things changed, and the siblings found themselves growing apart. All because of their different friend groups. "Why'd you even come back? The last time I checked, your mom didn't want you anywhere near this particular place in this planet where we live in." I looked straight at his eyes as his seems to study every inch of my face, probably looking for any sign of weakness that screams his name. He won't find one though. I've moved on and the only effect he has on me is only a fragment of what I felt for him before. He continued to study my face and it made me uncomfortable. Why won't he answer my question? With a sigh, I turned around to return to the safety of my house-where I know I'll be safe from those eyes that looks like it doesn't want to let mine go. "I wanted to see you" he answered. "I want to see you again." If you've already closed a chapter in your life and you're already about to open a new one, what would you do if the past chapter comes opening itself up? Will you flip through the pages once more or would you turn your back on it knowing that that certain chapter will always be the best one? Or would you choose to start on a new promising one?

Once realizing that Hogwarts may be in grave danger if he continues to stay there, Percy Jackson leaves but only to return to an isolated apartment. Upon entering, he senses something gravely wrong; to his horror, he finds his parents dead, strung up on the ceiling like lifeless dolls. Unable to comprehend what he saw into words, he runs away. He didn't care where he ended up- all he knew was that he had to get away from the scene that was burned into his mind. However, while on the run, he bumps into Pepper Potts. Pepper brings him back to Stark Towers, where she convinces Tony to allow Percy to stay there. Tony eventually, grudgingly, accepts the idea, and slowly, Percy starts to grow on him. They help Percy out, enrolling him into senior year of high school. Tony eventually finds out about Percy's special 'abilities', and requests for Percy to join the Avengers. Could this be a chance of finally escaping his magical ties for Percy? Could he actually forget the pain and start anew? But at what cost?
