Dreaminspiration Stories

(This is my first story, so I don't know if people will read it. Will try to update as much as I can) People say that there are monsters in the desert. They follow lost people and sense their hopes. These monsters make mirages that match the lost one's deepest wishes, and deepest desires. Then, they take these people to their lair and eat them. But no one has gone into the desert for hundreds of years. Not since the Great War against elves, when the elves cursed humans by taking away their magic. So no one knows if these legends are true.

Alexia Rosalee Edmonton has the life every girl dreams of, she is a princess, she is wealthy, and she even has a handsome prince. But Alexia's peaceful island home has trouble coming for it, and fast.

This book follows a young adult through her struggles of living among the ordinary humans. Rachel, a Shifter, moves throughout the city to gain resources and find shelter constantly. ~~~~ This book is based off of a dream that I, the author, had. It is slightly altered to fit more like a book than a bundle of events. Unlike my other books, this one will be targeted for slightly more mature audiences (preferably 17+) due to the warnings below. I will not include any heavily explicit themes, however. If any of the themes offend you, I advise you to not read this, but I will sincerely apologize.
