This is a DreamNotFound fanfic based of the song "Soldier, Poet, King" by The Oh Hellos! Oh yeah- Hey, this is my first fanfic. I will admit I am not the greatest writer so I hope to grow with you throughout this story! Just because this is a "DreamNotFound" fanfiction, I would like to make it clear I do not ship Dream or well Clay- and George as actual people. I just ship their personas. This story will contain the following: Swearing, Gore, Violence, Trauma, Death, and Possible Suicide. Please don't re-upload my story! George Davidson had a summer cottage passed down to him by his grandfather. It was the summer of 2019 when George decided to stay out at the cottage with relaxation in mind. After a week of staying at this cottage, he received a letter. A letter that would change his whole summer.

Life is going fine for George until he starts feeling... weird. Everytime he talks to Dream, he gets butterflies- Yearning for the joyful sound of Dreams laugh- But, panic starts to set in. Their only best friends, right? George doesn't want anything more, at least he doesn't think. Fearing that these stupid feelings will ruin evrything, George decideds to take a break from the internet. Things in his life change. He loses his apatite. He loses sleep. And, hes losing his connection with Dream. Yet hes still panicking. As he starts to fall into a deep state of depression, he hears a knock at his door. "Who could that be" George groans as he walks across the cold, hard floor to the door. As he twists the handle, it creaks. Shock freezes his whole body. "Dream?!" Trigger Warnings throughout the book include - Panic attacks, anxiety attacks, vomiting, passing out, suicidal thoughts, attempt suicide, rude language, and physical violence.
