Two of the three Fates don't like the ending that has long been written for Dream of the Endless, and endeavour to change that by bringing him in contact with his soulmate. While such a decision saves Morpheus's life, it also changes everything he thought he knew about the natural order of the universe when he discovers that his soulmate is a mortal. Kayleen was born to be the embodiment of Reality. Protector of the Waking World and Keeper of the Order. Naturally, that makes her a counterpart of the Dream of The Endless. Despite their differences in both approach to life and characters they are forced to work together to keep balance between Dreaming and Waking. Thank God, they are both professionals who DO NOT fight or engage emotionally..... Or do they? Disclaimer: I don't own any of the characters or plot idea, except Kayleen. This story takes place in the waking world, or as mortals insist on calling it... the real world, as if the other realms hold no importance in their daily lives, in their choices, in their dreams. To mortals and humans in particular the realms other than theirs are of no concern to them, their passage through the landscape of Grey Realm do not affect them, don't define them. As if what happens to them, in them does not matter. Black Winged Death was trapped in this version of All Seeing Destiny's book. Her wings are bound and the road to the Sunless Lands is concealed from her eyes, her Ankh stolen. She was alone and cold, even if time itself wouldn't bring her to madness, the silence and solitude hurt.

This is my first time writing about the sandman so be nice. Morpheus dream of the endless was visiting the mortal world with his older sister Death. they went to a tavern together and saw a mortal man saying he wasn't ever going to die a man named Hob. Dream asked his sister to keep him alive so he could see how long it takes someone to beg for death. On his way out of the tavern, he could hear a beautiful voice that got his attention he followed the voice until he saw a woman singing a lovely song that caught his attention, he was very interested in her in many ways not just her beauty but her powers as well. He finds out she's a caster of magic. Dream starts to visit the girl every few days to see what spells she can use, and how she uses them. Also, this turns the jealous heart of the Corinthian to step in and take matters into his own hands. Since he felt that he was Morpheus's masterpiece and no one else would ever have or touch his master but him so he tries to remove Hope from Dream's heart, will he win or Dream do everything in his power to keep Hope by his side?

In a world far out of reach, tucked away in the recesses of the unconscious mind, is a being of unfathomable importance. Someone so essential to the fabric of existence that one may question their own. He exists only to serve and spur the minds of man. But, how can one do that when man is the one to betray him? He falls back in his seat, spreading his right arm over the back of the booth ."Know what else I'm just saying?" You grin, "what?" He raises his left hand, finger swiping at your food before he flicks your nose with it, smearing it in white. "You should eat your ice cream before it melts." "Grandad!" You giggle, turning away from his hand, palming your nose to wipe away the ice cream." He grins back at you, eyes shifting from your face to your food as he grabs his spoon, "or maybe I'll have to eat it first," You quickly grab the bowl, hoisting it away from him, hastily adding a "no, I got it!" as he moves to tuck into his own bowl.

A dream x hob story. Dream has loved Hob for centuries and in 1889 when Hob called them friend's Dream felt hurt and confused about his feelings. now in present time Dream Mets Hob at the new inn with hope to get his "friend" to fancy him back. (There are song references in the chapters so you can try and find them if you'd like.) I HAVEN'T READ THE COMICS SO THIS IS STRICTLY BASED ON THE NETFLIX SHOW!!!

The Lord of Dreams, stuck in captivity for more than a hundred years. One imagines what he would think about, with all that time. Would he finally come to rest? (Basically a very self-indulgent way to make a character study)

Three years after the events of The Sandman (Season 1). Enri is the spitting image of Dream of the Endless right down to the looks and abilities, the only difference is that Enri was born many eons and a century after Dream. Enri is often mistaken for Dream by the Dream folk who're hiding in The Waking Word. An occultist tries to imprison Dream, though since he had since changed the rules of how he's to be captured. A child of the Endless ends up getting caught instead. This child knows nothing of their lineage or heritage. Dream, unaware of the events that just took place, walks in the Waking world trying to find another rogue nightmare.

Herald of hell, when most people hear that title they immediately conjure up images of the apocalypse and the end times. All that is exciting but it's not what my title means, that's my brother... who I've been waiting to show up for decades. While I wait I may as well spread some kind of chaos to pass the time. So that's why I decided to help dream of the endless. Might as well kill two birds with one stone and give both god and the devil the metaphorical and the quite literal middle finger. Here is some short stories based on and inspired by The Sandman series and comics. Feel free to make requests. You are Dream's twin sister, you and you're brother work side by side, he m akes you fetch for the Corinthian which whom you have a complicated relationship too. Just when you are about to do as told you find yourself being trapped underground of a building. (This is a one shot I decided to write. Not sure if it'll stay the same or if it will turn into a full book, please let me know.)

Dream and Joy a match made in heaven, at least by the gods. Euphrosyne is the wife of Dream the Endless and is the Goddess of Mirth, Good Cheer, and Joy. Her joy is everlasting especially since she is with the Dream King, Prince of Stories. Dream of the Endless is still smarting after his fight with Hob even though years have passed and in a moment of hurt, he banishes his wife. Then he is imprisoned, and she is banished from the Dreaming. He rejects her banishment when he sees her again after being freed. However, her joy has waned due to her banishment, Dream and Joy will need become the match they always were again.

I tilted my head slightly, watching her. The shifting light of the library cast long shadows, stretching and curling along the floor like the tendrils of an unseen thing waiting just beyond sight. Change was a fragile thing, delicate in its forming, unpredictable in its results. That Gault-a nightmare, once a being of fear-had chosen to become something else entirely was a notion I was still getting used to. Never before had I reshaped a nightmare into a dream, nor a dream into a nightmare. The distinction had always been absolute, a line never crossed. But now, here she was. The first of her kind. A possibility I had not considered before. If one could change, could others? Would they want to? Would they dare? And what, I wondered, would that make me, the one who governs them? Change in the Dreaming. I almost could not believe it myself.

The man's once neutral-ridden face turned into a very subtle frown, his bushy eyebrows casting a dark shadow over his stern eyes- which were now locked on you. "You there, dreamer. How did you manage to make your way into my castle?" His voice was deep and grounding, and maybe even appeared sultry in your own ears. It made your heart stop and your breath to become caught in your throat. This mysterious person, with his haunting eyes and pretty face and lovely voice. It almost brought you to your knees, right then and there.
