Characters watching the love life of Morpheus, _ Dream of the Endless, and Niklaus Mikaelson_ the original hybrid. All characters belong to the writers of the vampire diaries and the sandman. I only changed the plotline.

Assorodus meaning "silvery water". The Endless were not the first entities to come into existence at the dawn of the cosmos, of everything known. Yes, Father Time and Mother Night were there, but also someone else. Known to the Greeks as Talos, to others the Writer, or even the First Writer, giver of purpose to everything that breathed and sometimes to things that did not. For the sake of many, it would be easier to call this being simply Purpose, with whom Morpheus, the Lord of Dreams, came into close connection at the beginning of his reign, for men tend to ponder their purpose in their dreams. In front of each other, they can allow themselves to be open, and most of their secrets shared. Soon the two of the most potent creations started to depend on each other's friendship and eventually, Morpheus caught feelings he shouldn't have. This is his story through Talos' eyes. I could feel his breathing on my lips, his wild hair falling over my brow, tremors shaking his bones, signalling his desire to get as close as he could, but he held back. I told him to do so. "You wrote it so?" He breathed into my mouth. "I did."'

Princess Cassandra of Troy was cursed by the god Apollo for turning down his advances. In an effort to protect the women in her fathers employ from soldiers with similar intentions, she alters their dreams into nightmares. But once the King of Dreams finds out, they form an unlikely friendship. (This is loosely based on the Greek myths of Cassandra of Troy, but will eventually bring the characters into the modern era)

Two of the three Fates don't like the ending that has long been written for Dream of the Endless, and endeavour to change that by bringing him in contact with his soulmate. While such a decision saves Morpheus's life, it also changes everything he thought he knew about the natural order of the universe when he discovers that his soulmate is a mortal. Consider this a collection of stories, the ideas for which borrowed from the sandman himself! You know that part in the Cats/Calliope episode where Richard Madoc's flooded with ideas? Some of them were too good just to let him keep (aka all of them). He does not deserve those good ideas. They're mine now. Here's a lot of weird stories stolen from the sandman.

Dream and Joy a match made in heaven, at least by the gods. Euphrosyne is the wife of Dream the Endless and is the Goddess of Mirth, Good Cheer, and Joy. Her joy is everlasting especially since she is with the Dream King, Prince of Stories. Dream of the Endless is still smarting after his fight with Hob even though years have passed and in a moment of hurt, he banishes his wife. Then he is imprisoned, and she is banished from the Dreaming. He rejects her banishment when he sees her again after being freed. However, her joy has waned due to her banishment, Dream and Joy will need become the match they always were again.

The start of something wonderful

Here is some short stories based on and inspired by The Sandman series and comics. Feel free to make requests. Note: These stories are works of fiction and do not adhere strictly to the canon of Neil Gaiman's "The Sandman" series. The interpretation and direction of the characters are solely for the purpose of this narrative. I own no rights to the original characters the plot line.

What if Jessamy had managed to escape from Alex's gun and could inform the Endless of Dream's Capture? What if Death could save Dream only after a few years of capture? The tools are still lost, but he has his sibling's help.

In a world far out of reach, tucked away in the recesses of the unconscious mind, is a being of unfathomable importance. Someone so essential to the fabric of existence that one may question their own. He exists only to serve and spur the minds of man. But, how can one do that when man is the one to betray him? He falls back in his seat, spreading his right arm over the back of the booth ."Know what else I'm just saying?" You grin, "what?" He raises his left hand, finger swiping at your food before he flicks your nose with it, smearing it in white. "You should eat your ice cream before it melts." "Grandad!" You giggle, turning away from his hand, palming your nose to wipe away the ice cream." He grins back at you, eyes shifting from your face to your food as he grabs his spoon, "or maybe I'll have to eat it first," You quickly grab the bowl, hoisting it away from him, hastily adding a "no, I got it!" as he moves to tuck into his own bowl.

You are Dream's twin sister, you and you're brother work side by side, he m akes you fetch for the Corinthian which whom you have a complicated relationship too. Just when you are about to do as told you find yourself being trapped underground of a building. (This is a one shot I decided to write. Not sure if it'll stay the same or if it will turn into a full book, please let me know.)
