And as Summer puts it, it's the most cliché and sweet way to show someone that you care for them. But what happens when she receives a box full of candy grams with one word that will change her four years at Crest High? Just a fun little short story for the JCPenney DreamPromposal contest. -------------- She's always wanted to go to prom her senior year. It's been her greatest wish since middle school, and she would totally go, if it wasn't for one problem. She's paralyzed from her waist down. Stuck in a wheelchair her entire life, she's positive that no one's going to ask her to go. After all, who in their right mind would dance with someone who can't even stand? Resigned to this fate, she decides to just finish her high school career without going to prom and accept the fact that she never will. Until one day, one sentence, one boy changes her life forever. #dreampromposal 500 words total. 250 words each part.

Twins Leo and Luna are in their last year of high school and they get asked to prom by their best friends/crushes in the most magnificent way.

We all just want to have a fun prom night. It's a night to escape the stresses of everyday life. A night where we show off our moves, whether we have the flare of Fred Astaire or stick to the basics of the "Shopping Cart" or the "Lawn Sprinkler." A night where we look as phenomenal as we feel. It's one night that somehow manages to raise questions that raise my blood levels: Who will I go with? Do I ask? What if they say 'no?' If they do say 'yes,' what do I wear? How much do I have to spend on tickets, formal wear, dinner, and gas? And so on and so forth. It's with JCPenny's help that the stress ignited by these questions can be extinguished. I would love to rock the "B. Smart Sleeveless Party Dress!"
