(This is DISCONTINUED, so be aware if you don't want to read something that won't be completed) The endless fighting and unresolved sorrow. Dream is tired of it all. In his desperate act of selfishness, he ends up captured by Nightmare.

After Dream is freed from his stone prison at age six, instead of being an asshole, five hundred year old Nightmare actually takes care of him and raises him. Inspired by One Small Dream AU by Calcium_Cat.
