Scientists decide to create a study in which they monitor the dreams of people while they sleep. One, however, doesn't realize that his dreams would create a whole world of problems. ◇ Inspired by: Somnium DreamViewer and Liminal Spaces◇

Chaos. It was utter chaos. Alarms flared causing all in the vicinity to panic -scattering like ants about the building. Something had caused this particular disturbance. It was an unusual occurrence but it was to be the first of many. Theodore Storm walked briskly into the elevator after successfully weaving his was through the crowd of panicked co-workers. The elevator was newly commissioned and had been made of pure glass to allow observation, what could be seen were scientists working helter- skelter to decipher the problem. Or at least locate the source. The elevator doors open as soon as it reached his destination. He gripped his folder tighter than he had before, probably to make sure it hadn't disappeared. He stepped off the elevator and walked down the long hall way that seemed to go on forever until he reached the mahogany doubled door. He raised his hand and knocked twice. "Come in" said a voice from the other side and so he did. Seated- pardon, towering over a desk at the far end of the room was the dark looming figure that was known simply as "The Boss". Few knew of his existence, and that was exactly how he liked it. The boss reclined in his chair gazed coldly at Storm. "Oh, its you" he said, dryly. Storm gulped, that wasn't the best way to start. "Uh, s-sir we have a problem-" "Yes, we do" the boss stood from his chair and walked towards the window behind his chair. "I woke up this morning. I heard a siren" he paused and looked over his shoulder at Storm. "Why?" It wasn't a question that needed to be asked twice. "I-I..." "You what?" He snapped. "I know why" The boss faced him eyes narrowed in distaste. "Well," Storm released a shaky breathe. After his what he was about to say, he knew his boss' wrath would surely follow. "Someone woke up"

When dangerous forces begin to turn their eyes on Kat, she must learn to fight to survive both in the waking world and in her dream state. With the constant fighting she is forced to accept just how human she really is. She can't win this fight alone. But with betrayals and unavoidable problems setting her back, can Kat and her companions reveal and defeat all of their enemies in time? ~This story is updated as the dreams come ~

This is a collection of moments and memories I am compiling that I may weave together at some point. The genre is friendship, romance, and the fragility of youth... The memories follow myself and one of my very best, most dear friends through the friendship, romance, and heartbreak of our youth and early adult years. This story has no end and is a reflection on the preciousness of life, connection, and love and the many forms that can take. There is little dialogue as like most memories I remember mainly the feeling of the moment and what was happening around me though the dialogue that is here is significant as it has resonated with me over many years. This was meant to act almost like a box where someone keeps their most treasured sentimental items, things that may not have a practice use but with which they cannot bear to part.
