In this story Cross and Ink are brothers and princes the kingdom was happy everything was fine so what could go wrong ? Well... Ever since the brothers were young their parents were very cold and strict, they planned on making Ink the next ruler of the kingdom because as they claimed he was "more serious, logical" But the real reason behind their choice was he was very easy to manipulate due to past experiences. cross on the other side was mostly neglected by their parents since they focused on his brother but he never really cared. Although when he heard a conversation between their parents about their "project"... He couldn't accept it. He would not let this happen. The same night, he sneaked in his brother's room and did what needed to be done. (i think you already know but there will be a lot of uncanon stuff)

This story in Dreamswap takes place after the peace is installed between JR and the Meme Squad. Dream had realized how much he actually loved Nightmare and wanted to show it- without making things hella awkward. This is my first story like this so enjoy! Nightmare, Error, and Cross all work at a coffee shop, Cross as the waiter, Error as the cashier, and Nightmare as the person who makes the shit. Dream and Ink still work at JR, and Blue still is a yoga teacher. Error is pretty much the main character, because I just felt like we see to much Nightmare. So take Error for once. Bare in mind that this is the first Undertale AU, I'm writing unlike other fandoms I wrote. Like TMNT, CountryHumans, Ninjago and etc. In this story, it is canon that DS!Nightmare and DS!Dream are not related. This is confirmed by the owner of the AU.
