Author's Note: Welcome to my very first story! Not Meant To Be is an Undertale Reader-Insert/Chara fic, with emphasis on a plot, written purely for fun. It is heavily inspired by other works in the fandom. Rated Teen (T) just to be safe. Life has choices that only you make, and each choice made reflects upon your future. Things are difficult, the patience, the understanding, the determination. It all gets confused with what reality is, the people we come across and those we call friends. When you really know someone, do you really? I guess we can say there is only one solution. Kill, or be killed. Or is it..?

That is her only motivation. Her determination to set them free. And she is given, another chance.

A HTTYD and Undertale Crossover. What if Hiccup, Toothless, Chara and Asriel were swapped? What if the monsters were never trapped underground? This is the story about a child who befriends humans greatest enemy-a monster Together, can Chara and Asriel save each others kind? Or will they perish? (sorry still not great at descriptions XD)

WARNING: THERE WILL BE SPOILERS FOR THE GAME!!! You wake up in a field of beautiful yellow flowers. You don't know how you got there, but it seems so.. Peaceful and lonely. However, you feel another presence. Not physically but... mentally. Its inside you, and sharing your thoughts. You brush it off, and follow a small path to the ruins, and meet a friendly goat lady. She directs you to Snowdin, and just as you depart... the force takes over. You hear a voice telling you to.. attack. You refuse; after all, the lady helped you. Then, something takes over. You can't explain it, and the voice laughs and laughs..... You start on your way to Snowdin, and along the way you meet a skeleton. He's all fun and games at first, but you sense a deep pain. He seems to know you, but you don't know him at all. Through your path, you start to... fall for him. You don't know why, but he is deep, and kind. However, the voice keeps drawing you away and giving you thoughts... bad, evil thoughts. Of killing all the monsters you meet. And he knows you do. And he wants... Needs... To stop you.

Just to clarify, the reader is entirely based on Chara from undertale so in no way is this an original creation. I have too many ideas honestly, please help. (Lazily done by a 15yo] kid) !I DO NOT OWN ANYTHING IN THIS FANFICTION! (#1 In Dreemur, February 6th, 2023)

this is my first story. I will update as I go. suggestions always welcome. xD

[Chara x Child! Reader] Your Mother is a therapist. You've never paid any great amount of attention to what she actually does. You just know she works with children your age and that's all you really think you need to know. You're almost eighty percent sure that she can't tell you, anyways. She takes you to work with her because you don't have a father and she doesn't trust sitters. You'd fool around and draw or read until it was time to go. Drawing was your favorite. You'd been told you were good at it, too. Much above a fifth grade standard. But, you still loved reading as well. When the barrier broke, things got a lot more interesting. All of a sudden, monsters were all around you. And, a strange boy with the nicest red eyes you'd ever seen started coming to your Mom's therapy sessions. And suddenly, you were a bit more interested in your Mom's work.

Alpha is a clever, kind, magical, and unique soul, and she knows it. Unlike her fellow orphans in the Ebott City Orphanage, Alpha is fully aware of the meaning behind the old folklore surrounding MT Ebott and its sister mountains. Her older brother had taught her the whole history when she was young. Only one other human in all of Ebott City knows the whole tale, her "adoptive best friend," Cole Jackson Haliken. This all changes when one of Alpha's closest friends, Chara Evelyn discovers alpha's collection of ancient books and journals that provide information from the "Forgotten Ten Year War," monsters, their abilities, weaknesses and relation to humans. Our story begins on this day, the day alpha began to understand just how different she was, compared to everyone around. She is starting to realize that she is a rock hard, but internally fractured diamond among fragile, passionate hearts and spades, and she has to learn exactly what that entails.
