Previously 'The Game Of Tag, 'A Catalyst Key' A bolt of lightning thrusts through the night, glowing scarlet in the shimmering window, and as I stare, it illuminates the droplets settled upon the glass... This is how the night begins. And it's all because of Anna Drey. Her haunting starts with the dream. The running. The endless closet. The darkness. The Quakes. And then comes the Day of Infection. The first stage: Touch. If the Haunter touches you, you're good as dead. You can only tell that it's there by a faint outline and a blur in the wall. The second stage: Scratch. The Touched seem normal, seem like your everyday family member. But they aren't. While some are scratched but aren't yet infected, and some are but under a humane disguise, they'll scratch you if you get close. Then the Haunter controls you, it is you. It's in your very soul. The third stage: The Quakes. If you're infected by midnight, by Touch or by Scratch, you get the final Quake dream. If you don't, you're safe. If you get the dream, you don't wake up. Anna Drey is in the middle of it all, and she only has one way, one day to survive. Betray your family, join a side. But how will you know who is who? This book is the first in the Drey Entanglement series, and the second in the Azurelon's Folly series. Directions on how to choose your timeline are in the final chapters!
