Sang went into the woods every day to get away from her family, and every day she meets a dog who seems to know she needs comfort and gives her that. After doing this for a couple of months, one day it all changes when she doesn't just meet the dog in the woods, but his green eyed owner as well. Now, both dog and owner don't seem to want to leave her alone.

The Academy boys are all sick! One by one, the boys all get sick and Sang is busy playing nurse. Who knew the boys would be such a handful! It's a disaster all around. Some are just plain babies and some pretend they're just fine when they're quite obviously not. Sang is running around cleaning everyone's messes all by herself and nearly going mad. Would someone PLEASE take Meanie's stupid bell away and WHERE did Mr. Blackbourne disappear to?! He couldn't even get up a minute ago! I had no family, I never did. Mother didn't want me, father just didn't seem to care and Marie...Marie despised my very existence!. It wasn't always like this, when I was little, mother would sing songs to Marie and I and we would dance along happily, but I never really had a father figure in my life. It didn't just start overnight..something changed. Some days, she'd spend hours yelling at me, telling me how worthless I was and how much she hated me until it was ingrained in my memory. I grew older, and it got worse. I would be forced to kneel on rice or sit on stools for hours on end. I just didn't understand, she claimed she was helping me so I wouldn't become like 'Lola'. I didn't know who she was, but when I'd asked dad, he'd dismiss saying mother was just saying things because she was sick. then he and mother would get into a fight, and then I'd get punished again, I'd be forced to drink mother's favorite concoction of lemon and vinegar. I hated it...I hated it so much. I learned quickly never to ask of her again. I loved playing with gadgets around the house and once when I was asked to clean and I went into my father's room and opened his computer, it was so fascinating. But I didn't know how to work it, And i wasn't allowed to go to school, so every time I was tasked to do Marie's homework, I would read as much as I could about computer's . I would go everyday to dads computer, and When I finally cracked the code, i saw it, my documentations, my birth certificate, were all forged. Mother wasn't my mother. I printed everything I could and hid it in my clothes. But when I was just past the door, I was caught. It was the first time my father hit me. But with all these things, I never complained, I never asked for anything more, all I asked was for them to accommodate me until I was old enough to fend for myself, but no...when mother passed away, I was left with no one. Many things happened to me after that. I am sang Sorensen, and this is my story...

It about how I see Sang if all she knew was living in a house never having set foot outside it. (I'm not yet revealed how she traveled from home in Illinois to South Carolina in the story) she has learning. Only she learned by hearing her mother, father, and sister. The boys have rescued her. She is 16½ but looks 10-13 in age. As of right now noone is interested in her romantically. Will that change only the characters know. I'm doing the book in parts and only publishing when a part is done. I keep having to go back many times to change something that is changed because it doesn't fit.
