(Previously known as "Insanity". Currently being completely rewritten.) Xavia Scythe was never in one place for too long. As a loner, a drifter, she stuck to human territories to keep from coming in contact with the hostile packs she knew surrounded the states. Her life had been one tragedy after the next, leaving her as the loner she had become. After stopping in a one-horse town, Xavia meets the reason, or reasons, exactly why she stuck to human territories. And unfortunately, they won't let her leave.

So I've recently finished the first season of the anime Drifters and I thought, what the hell, I'll write some fanfiction for it! This involves of my favorite figures in history: Mary Read, Edward 'Blackbeard' Thatch and Samuel Bellamy. I'll do a quick history thing on them for those who don't really know them. Morgan writes to Milo in the hopes of bringing the drifter back to the small town where they met two years previous. The letters are an insight into the relationship they once had, the hopes and fears of both characters as they explore the potential in continuing again, or beginning a-new elsewhere. Where Morgan's letters are hopeful and poetic, full of earnest attempts at spreading a positive otlook, Milo's letters express the ways in which his wild and radical mind moves quickly from hot and cold, yes and no, and so on and so forth. Morgan writes as a way of reaching out, while Milo writes as a way of pushing back, neither character entirely sure of what they want from each other, but both afraid to say that final goodbye...

This is a very blessed band. I can feel it, and that surprises me and scares me at the same time. This gut feeling I have could either be correct or an absolute bust. I pray that we are great tonight. I hope the audience gets it, gets us and the music. We are different from other bands in this scene, on this Strip. I hope the people like us, and I hope they enjoy the music. I hope we have fans by the end of the night. I hope, I hope, I hope... All I can do is hope.
