High school junior, Mason Jackson, had always known she was gay. At least, she had known since she decided to start shopping in the boy's section at the age of seven, when she started dressing herself. Since then, it was only more apparent to the adults around her, when she asked to be signed up for soccer, and basketball, and lacrosse, and when she never seemed to be involved in the newest boy band craze. In her junior year, Mason decided to join the track team, in hopes that she would have a chance at being able to run in college, as she had no idea what she wanted to do with her future. Little did she realize, she was allowing the pieces to fall perfectly as to allow her to meet the beautiful star runner that was Augustine Ford. **This story is unfinished. I wanted to clap or cheer- I know it gives her confidence but she physically can't bring herself to do it. The audience erupts in applause, though, and all I can do is stare. Not in a bad way.
