Going to work is normally mundane and truly terrible, but what if there's someone there who can make it suck just a little bit less? Do you anticipate going if that's where your crush is? Is it still work if you're excited to go and you smile through the entire shift? A new girl shows up one day and the dynamic starts to shift. Friends at first but will it become more?

I feel so tired from all the adrenaline running through my veins, pumping into heart making it beat faster & faster. I don't think I've ever felt this type of feeling before. As if I'm about to lose my life, never see my parents again, & never truly live my life. Part of me thinks that if we die tonight it'll be my fault because it was my idea to come here just because I wanted to go see my Grandmother again. ------ What at 1st was just a date at the drive-in turns into a night to survive.

Before I tell the story, of my four closest friends, I will tell you all about them; because nobody knows them like I do. Colin is the youth leader at our local church. This is a short story that I wrote about a year ago and I just decided to post it on here so hope you like it :) We all know the classical story of the two star crossed lovers that happen to accidentally find each other. Well what happens when instead of a fairy tale ending, they end up kidnapped and tortured? This is the story of the meeting of a young teenager boy and girl who just happened to bump into each other at a drive in theater. And the story of their adventure following. Like I said, it's a short story so there's not a lot of details for every little thing and there's not big plot twists, but I personally think it's a good story ;)
