On what was a normal day for most, three years ago, Autumn bonded with the new kid at her high school over the struggles on an uncommon name. From that moment, Autumn and Rhino became inseparable. But over time, because of his humor, aesthetic, kindness, and general amazingness, Autumn began to feel more than just friendship towards Rhino, but she could never tell him that...or could she? Autumn's feelings have been bubbling towards the surface lately. They seem bound to spill at some point, and it may just happen while Rhino is teaching her how to drive. Or, maybe it won't. You'll have to read to find out.

"Asher and Amanda sitting in a tree k-i-s-s-i-n-g. First comes love then comes marriag-," S sang loudly in the restaurant. "S! If you don't stop I'm going to wring your neck," I warned her under my breath as I rolled my eyes. "then comes a baby in a baby carriage." "alright you little old fart milksop on a stick. You better be running by the time I count to three." I warned, "one," without hesitation she sat there and had the biggest smile on her face, "two," she is still just sitting there,"three!" I got up from the booth and I began to run after that crazy old friend of mine but, she just got up and laughed. Oh the furry I had in my eyes and Asher wasn't helping at all! Just sitting there laughing while he ate his dinner and watched.

This is a poem I wrote for Drivers Ed

My project for my driver's ed class. It was sort of about what happens after a drunk driving accident and I've never actually gone through this kind of thing so it's not EXACT TO WHAT IS REAL in real life. It kind of focuses on how friends can get you through rough times and I plan to extend this if it's any good to other people. A Note: I did not intend for this to be as long as it was, but I wanted to focus on what happens to the people you care about after an accident. And once I started I couldn't stop. Not all of this is accurate to what happens in the real world, I'm sure that there would be more police presence and questioning involved but I did not feel I could accurately portray such things.

This is basically a story about an aspiring writer that is always plagued by her worst enemy Inner Critic. She recommends that he get his driver's license by signing up for Driver's Ed, just to prove that he is smart at criticizing. Will the tables soon turn on him?
