Vaughan Valmont is a salmonid. He is a steel eel pilot who, over many years of working his way to the top, was granted the authority of a steelhead. He worked with them for a few years, a cruel leader to any and all chums he commanded on salmon runs. He later gave up that life though after growing tired of it. He created a workshop hidden in a cliff overhanging a beach near Inkopolis, where he woud repair or create new technology for other salmonids to use. It was a mostly solitary life, because any apprentice he would get wouldn't last long because of their own dangerous experiements. But it all changed with the arrival of Carter Hydrobon, a scrapper who was well known by most generals to be a nuisance for his illegal modifactions to his vehicle. His somewhat mysterious sister Dazz would appear at the workshop as well, never showing her face or really any part of her; she remained hidden under her drizzler brella.
