I hadn't met a Jedi before. This one was a bit disappointing. I thought they were taller. Said his name was 'Master Yuda' or something like that, in height he was probably only about the size of a youngling, maybe even smaller. But he was a hell of a lot older. And green. I think he must've hit his head some time ago because he talked all backward. "Dispatched in 48 hours, you will be. To Tatooine, your gunship will take you, and under the command of Jedi General Dorn your regiment will be placed." I missed a lot of what he said, either because I was trying to decode what he was going on about (I mean, who even talks like that anyway?) or because I had to keep on telling CT-9814 to STOP POKING ME WITH HIS BLASTER. Brothers we may be, but sometimes I just want to hit him over the head with a Z-6. I managed to get Timebomb to fill me in on the way back to our lockers. We're going to Tatooine, which is a sand planet (I HATE sand) in the Outer Rim, legendary amongst civilians for its crime boss owner and the hive of Bounty Hunters he established decades ago. Sounds like a very nice holiday destination. I'm sure it's even more pleasant with the army of droids roaming around there now. Our mission is to fly in and scrap the clankers. AGAIN. But according to Timebomb it's gonna be different this time. There's supposed to be hundreds, maybe even thousands of them, all battle-ready and experienced from wiping out the wave of Clones that were sent out before us. At least we'll have the 501st by our side. Now THAT is what I call legendary- the 501st Battalion. I know I shouldn't... but I'm looking forward to it.

In the aftermath of the Clone Wars and the deaths of Count Dooku and the Separatist Leaders, a shutdown signal was sent to all Battle Droids units throughout the Galaxy, effectively putting an end to the Clone Wars. In addition, the Galactic Republic was reorganised into the First Galactic Empire, and Chancellor Palpatine, who is actually the Sith Lord, Darth Sidious, establishes himself as Emperor, putting an end to democracy and creating a new era of fear, corruption and tyranny that would last over a decade. Unknown to Palpatine, one large squadron of Battle Droids was able to resist the shutdown signal. In the possibility that Palpatine would betray him, Count Dooku instructed his secret apprentice, Jack Trevelyan, to oversee a contingency plan, to reconstruct the Droid Army. Hidden in a secret facility on the remote planet, Virmire, located in the Unknown Regions. Jack had his Tactical Droid, Kraken, oversee the reproduction of the Droid Army and enters cryo-stasis to preserve his youth, reawakening once the time comes. In time, the Confederacy of Independent Systems will return to resume its original purpose: free the Galaxy from the corruption of the Republic, now the Empire. In an alternate scenario where General Grievous survives the Battle of Utapau, he manages to come back from the dead from his duel with Obi-Wan Kenobi. With his plans in ruins and the Clone Wars at their end, Grievous would go into hiding, avoiding the rising Galactic Empire. Without Count Dooku or the Separatist leadership, he will seek revenge against Palpatine and attempt to rebuild his droid forces elsewhere in the unknown regions. However, with Darth Vader and the Emperor solidifying their rule, Grievous would be a hunted fugitive, forced to survive in the shadows or carve out a new role in the galaxy's changing power structure.
