I looked at what KMG and few other versions which I have and wrote this. My take on that question is this piece..

This is a play about the legendary archer Eklavya that I wrote back in seventh grade for a school project. It's based on a small yet significant part of the great Indian epic, Mahabharata. Even if you don't have any idea about Indian epics, this is pretty simple, though I definitely encourage delving into India's mythohistory.

Yaashika Arya Acharya is a ordinary girl from the 21st century. She is highly religious and is extremely interested in the Hindu epic of Mahabharat. Known for her beauty, smarts and kindness, she is blessed by the Gods with special abilities and a chance to change history. A simple but whole-hearted prayer is heard by the incarnation of Vishnu, Krishna. He grants her the wish...and she is drawn in to the world and timeline of Mahabharat! Her life drastically changes when she is transported back to those ages and soon, everyday there becomes a challenge. Will she succeed in changing history? Will she even accept this divine opportunity? What will happen when she sees Karna, the forgotten warrior?
