I didn't ask for this. But really, who does? Being stuck in the middle of your imagination for crashing your dad's funky car wasn't my fault completely. So, instead of going home unharmed, I wake up in 'Limbo', whatever that is. I need to 'let go' and 'chill out'. Yeah, right. I mean-who chills out when they're being chased by demons and the ninth nuclei, as well as falling in love? Yeah, well if you want to hear my story, then listen close, because it's a bumpy ride.

Lyric Martin has always had it all. A perfect family, friends, and everyone has always loved her. Until one day when she is dared to jump off of a roof of an old abandoned building, into a lake at least forty feet below. Lyric's voice is permanently damaged, and her parents' send her to live with Lyric's Aunt and Uncle, who live two hours away from where she lives. I gasped as he wrapped his arms around my waist and bent down over me, his lips slowly connecting with mine. I closed my eyes gradually, and I let him take over.
