From the high balcony of the Grand Temple of Lolth, Menzoberra Zan'Rae watched the city writhe beneath the cavern's ceiling, its spires and bridges shuddering with the cries of battle. Below, the faithful of the Spider Queen clashed with the cult of Ghaunadaur, slime-slick fanatics wielding oozing whips and dripping blades. The air reeked of acid and smoke; the clash of steel echoed like a ceaseless drumbeat of doom. Behind her, the sacred doors groaned open. Rodella, her eldest daughter, entered with a child clinging to her skirts - a girl with hair pale as her grandmother's and eyes still wide with disbelief. "Mother," Rodella said softly. Her voice was hoarse, raw from smoke. "It is done. The gates are ash. House Zan'Rae is no more."

When the Thornton family uncover a mysterious box labeled 'Treasures' among their deceased grandmother's junk, they are accused of being the thieves of the Starlight (a megaminx puzzle that radiates a brilliant light), attacked by Drow, and forced from their home to a world called Quintelle. There, they are caught in the middle of a war between a race of elementals, the Escardi, and an army of energy-wielding humans titled the Furo. While Shana and the Escardi are investigating the abnormal behavior of the Furo and what caused it, her rowdy teenagers Michael, Liam, and Beatrix attempt to piece together the story of the Starlight and the true identity of the Starlight Thief.

The pinpricks of light from the surface of Faerûn trickle down into the depths, and call upon a survivor: a woman raised in the dark, trained to be a killer. She will not allow herself to remain enwebbed by the Spider Queen, to play by her rules and still fail to earn her favor. Cinder will endure as she always has, but first she must escape Menzoberranzan.

I'm creating a cozy fantasy fall story based on some prompts my friend found on tumblr. I'm hoping to create a cute short story through these. Marn is a former adventurer who has been working at a bakery for 1 year. As he begins to recall his stories of his adventuring days, he gets the spark to do so again. When Syrrah enters The Enchanted Confections Bakery, he gets a chance to do so again, without having to go too far.
