However, one night, things dont' go to plan and the sadness of not being able to see his friends back on Mobius gets to him and now he must work with small town cop Tom Wachowski to escape Earth before he's caught by the villainous Dr. Robotnik! Much like how Sonic Underground: Reimagined serves as a Sonic underground reboot, this story is serving as a reboot to the old Sonic SatAM cartoon from the same era of TV essentially.
