Feisty Fluffball offers Conditioner a plate of green eggs and ham. However, she refuses multiple times throughout the story by saying, "I do not like green eggs and ham. I do not like them, Feisty-I-Am." The kitten further asks her to eat that food in various locations (house, box, car, tree, train, dark, rain, boat) and with a few different animals (mouse, fox, goat), but is still rebuffed. Finally, she asks Conditioner to try green eggs and ham, accepts them. Declares that she likes them, happily saying "I do so like green eggs and ham. Thank you. Thank you, Feisty-I-Am."
