Lucy and Gru are sent on their most dangerous mission yet. The mission is to capture a villain called Strider, who is the AVL's most wanted villian since Balthazar Bratt. Strider is not the guy that you want to mess with, he's a brutal, heartless and cruel villain who wont let anyone stand in his way. When Strider takes Lucy it's up to Gru, Dru and the minions to save her before it's too late.
