This is a story about a promise from a 6 year old boy to his Momma. How this promise survived thru pain, humiliation and blood. This promise will take you from the wilds of Idaho and Grizzly bears to the Mexican Cartels in San Diego. The promise, the love of family and the extreme tenacity of a young boy fulfilling his 23 year old promise as a man.

The story follows Ivan Malin, who arrived in America as a child from Belgrade, growing up in the harsh streets of New York's Ironclad neighborhood.
