Drumcorps Stories

This is my drum corps dream. I've always wanted to march drum corps and soon enough I hope I'll be able to... This is what I want to happen if I ever join DCI... I'm starting from the beginning of my band experience, by the way...

Becca is in the color guard for the her high school. This year she's trying out for the drum corps, Blue Coats. All she hears about is a boy called the "Prince of DCI". She doesn't know who he is. She's never seen him. That is until one day he shows up at tryouts. This "prince" is definitely a prince. To say anything less would be an insult. How will Becca survive a year of drum corps with the Prince's eyes on her?

Jake is used to keeping himself composed and proper. No one really knows why, but he just does. Only Kevin gets to see him as who he really is. They get close but Jake isn't ready for the infamous four letter word. He doesn't want to go though that again. It seems he might lose "himself" through it and get to being Above Average. Or will his world flip. He doesn't want to get attached, but if he's attached to two people how will it hurt? Will this "rebound" grow on him? Since when is everyone interested in someone average?
