Marinette has grown emotionally and physically stronger, thanks to her best friends Tikki and Alya for making her join the Color Guard in marching band. She became less awkward around her crush, Adrien, bur she's slowly, slowly, getting over him. Adrien, who is going to the same college as Marinette, was also convinced by Plagg and Nino to join the drum line in the school's marching band. Let's say things get awkward when Plikki, and DJ Wifi happens Marching band bc I didn't want it to be a typical football player and cheerleader story. No swearing :)

Marching band is all about the music but you can't forget the color guard! This story takes place at Jefferson High and is about high school students learning to respect and care for each other and take pride in being Pirates! Ethan this year is the only guy on color guard but this is his 2nd year in marching band. Carissa has been doing color guard for two years, when she's paired to help him they create a bond that's much more intimate than "a band family."

It was just a normal fall day in my all-boy drumline class when the worst news comes on the P.A. System. No body saw it coming. Especially me. Between my best friends suicide, high school drama, the dreamy boy in front ensemble, and the irritating guys in drumline, my emotions end up all over the place. Causing drama with everyone.

He's actually really good, and Emily notices something different about him. A good different. They become good friends, and eventually it all changes. Will they be drumline family? High school: awkward, bewildering, and definitely not the best four years of our lives. This rings especially true for the only girl on a drumline fighting to make her spot among the ten boys she spends more time with than her own family.
