In all of Earth, and all the heavens above, one band reigns superior each year at the MPA festival, only one band comes out on top and takes their worthy spot in heaven. For the past few hundred years, it has been the Fort Myers Greenwave Marching band. But what happens when the great and almighty king Dahlburg moves on to another world and a new king, king Wilkerson steps in? Will they still rise to the top? Most people in my band could only dream of being drum major. But me? I got this. I can lead our band. But will our band follow?

A bunch of short stories about band kids and their adventures.

A book where each chapter I give my opinion on the week's shows and standings of popular drum corps. These will not be fully in depth but a my observations. (My favorite corps is Carolina Crown and I hate the Blue Devils) My favorites and dislikes will not heavily influence my pick of show of the week which there will be every week. Hopefully I will not repeat throughout the season sorry if I do.

Frank was nervous. Gerard was excited. Frank had been persuaded to join marching band by his best friend, Lizzy Hale. The schools most popular guard member. Many people watched the halftime shows just because of her. Frank was a retired baritone player. He played throughout his middle school career, but hadn't touched it since. He walks into the room and sees Gerard, his new drum major, sitting on the podium, and Frank gets the sudden urge to impress him.

I'm trying out for Drum Major and I wanted to share my experience with you guys (for those of you also trying out) so you can prepare yourself ^-^ I hope that this book can help you while joining me in my adventure.

What happens when you die?

Jack is his marching band's drum major, Alex is the life of the party drunken dropout Jack has a massive crush on. They've never really spoken, but at the first home game of the season, that's gonna change drastically. So Im just gonna apologize now to my entire marching band, the band director, the Third-in-line drum major Cole, whom Jacks character is loosely based off of (I say loosely, because I'm pretty sure Cole is straight, or, at most, bi) , Stoned Guy Who Took Pizza From A Percussionist, whom Fronz is based off of, a large amount of my friends and teachers, and of course John, who, though very straight, Alex's character is based off of. None of them will likely ever read this but I should cover all my bases just in case. Also smut, there will be smut.

Events in the fast-paced novel work around band camp, Beans and Cornbread's first show, an 'impacting' first marching band competition, sneaky cheerleading exes and an exciting Homecoming week. In Waterford High School there is Wyatt who is the drum major of the high school's marching band. He is very dedicated to getting the band first place in the Marching Competition but there is one problem. Garf is an amazing and outstanding trumpet player but his behavior is not the best. Wyatt and Garf are not not the best of friends but more like enemies. As the competition comes closer Wyatt is losing focus during the practices because he is realizing that he's gay for Garf, but as Wyatt tries to get closer with Garf there is one major problem, Blarf. Blarf is Garf's brother and ex-girlfirend who is trying to seduce Garf .Will Wyatt be able to get over his fear of being gay or will he lose everything? Read on and find out!
