In a tie and button-down, claiming he enrolled "for spiritual growth"-but Lane knows better. He came for her. Together, they launch a fake worship group to hide their sound under the school's radar. But inside every song is a secret rebellion-echoes of Led Zeppelin, the ache of Nirvana, the fire of Blondie-stitched into every verse like prayer beads disguised as guitar picks. As their connection deepens and campus pressure mounts, Lane has to decide: how long can she keep living two lives before both worlds collide?

Anyway My mom, being the total shitty mother that she has become is never home. I take take care of my four younger siblings. I work hard for everything we have. Any other money comes from my older brother Jayden, but he's a poor kid paying for college completely by himself he doesn't have much to spare. He even stopped dying his hair so he could send us an extra 15 bucks every couple of months. That's a big act coming from him. A/N just decided to add a twist to the story I'm adding this kinda of as a fan-fic I haven't decided on a band but they won't come in until chapter 5/6ish but I'll change the description when I figure a good match for this. (I honestly have no clue where this stories going so this will probably change plus add different tags. The prologue written in a similar fashion and then the chapters are quite different.
