When she loses her life in a car crash, she is surprised to wake up, unharmed.

It follows a man having to deal with the one year anniversary of his wife's death, facing seeing the sight again along with a painful place to be.

why is it that life is always disappointing? No matter what I try to do, no matter who I try to be, life always screws me over. Now I'm here in Texas not knowing anybody because of some stupid drunk driver! You know my life wasn't ever sunshine and rainbows, but at least I had family and sanity. Let me tell you how I lost those two crucial parts of my life, and how I gained what I didn't want but maybe what I really needed.

Megan knew to never drive drunk, she was always the responsible one in her group. She was always DD and she looked out for everyone. The chances of them getting into an accident that night were slim with Megan behind the wheel sober. Life did not seem to care. Andrew may not have been driving the night of the accident, but he still felt as if he was responsible for the wreck. He was too scared to speak up and not let his cousin drive drunk. Choices have consequences and when his life crashes into Megan's he realizes more than one of his choices are going to come back to haunt him.
