Shuichi was never really fond of video games, but after being recommended a game by his friend (and crush) Kaede Akamatsu, he had to try it out. After playing the game, he lost conscience and found himself trapped in the fantastical world. You were abandoned by your parents when you were a baby and grew up in an orphanage. You met a girl there and bonded with her over the years until people came one day under the pretense of adopting you. You were then subjected to intense training and cyber-genetic enhancements to become a spy. For years you followed orders to the letter, with your only light being the girl you were friends with at the orphanage. One day, you were given an assignment to observe a wealthy executive but ended up meeting your childhood friend most unexpectedly. You attempt to reconnect with her after so many years, even after finding out that she is an assassin. Soon the organization you worked for orders you to be executed and for her to be killed. You join her to protect the orphanage you both grew up in and find allies that seek to bring down the ones that made your lives hell.

Drv3 AU where everyone has there own superpower (may or may not be related to their original talents). There is no killing game and a "normal" school curriculum is set. Their first semester focuses more on academics, while the second focuses on strengthening their powers, combat skills, and training to become pro heroes in the future. Ouma and Kiibo compete on becoming the greatest hero, but they still help and care for each other as "friends", though their friendship eventually grows into something more than that. (This was partially inspired from Boku no Hero Academia :3) all media belong to their rightful owners:)) *I like to think that the facilities of the school are bigger, brighter, and neater here, but it's up to you on how you want to imagine these lol:))) **there may be a little bit of smut at some points of the fic btw (I won't mark this as mature content since its majority fluff anyway so)
