Many forms of insanity brought the land to the brink of self-destruction. The name of a twisted, sadistic killer strikes fear in every man's heart.His victims ranged through all twelve kingdoms. They call him the Herald of Death. Fallon (fah-lun) is a gentle-bred Lady in the Mad King's court. However she is not all she appears, she hates any activities considered 'lady-like' and posses a savage taste for blood. Often she travels abroad to go see the remnants of her family. Fallon is a cynic who wants neither love nor family, all she seeks is her independence. Her loyalties lie with no one, she trusts only herself despite the understanding she entertains with the Mad King. The only one who knows her other name : The Herald of Death. In the midst of it all the most surprising form of madness reaches out to touch the hearts of a hated serial killer and an honest man bent on revenge. But secrets, lies and loyalty may just bring them to their senses. __________________________________ I suck at summaries and I don't really know where to class this story anyways. Suffice it to say there will be love, blood, battles, killing, betrayal, indecision, death.... There won't be descriptive killing scenes, it's more suggestive than gory. I've been told it seems like a horror so... read on if you dare.
