It was never easy to get used to drastic changes that turned his life upside down; Becoming a Demon was only part of the problem. However, Tanjiro developed the lesson that being inure to demon life did not mean that he had to look at the world with a different set of eyes, after everything he had to go through. He was once human, after all.

Nezuko was the one suppose to get turned. Her brother didn't deserve this pain but even if hurt he continued his role as a brother and saved her from danger. Why didn't she see this happen? Their threads where intact why though? If she had been able to see their threads fade then maybe- "NII-CHAN!"
