Faint clouds dust the air like sugar, and the sun glows ever radiant in the distant sky. "What are you doing out here?" A small voice calls to me from behind, and I tilt my head to respond. "I was just thinking about the past, Hanami," I tell her, "It would have been harder to concentrate with all the noise inside." "I see. Well, Akai, you can't fix the past nor redeem your family, just as I can't save mine. You know as well as me that the future we watch is anything but ideal for us," Hanami states with ultimate resolve. I dip my head in defeat and lay my head upon the clouds that lie below the sky.
