They thought she's not a good type of friend to have. Luckily, she found the perfect friends that were also misunderstood by everyone else. Kitty cheshire, daughter of the cheshire cat and faybelle thorne, daughter of the dark fairy. Duchess also have a boy bestfriend. A werewolf named Gale Wolf. They've been together since, the beggining. Gale has a secret crush on duchess whom he doesn't have the strength to tell her. Until duchess were hexted by daring. Her ultimate crush. He court her in the old fashioned way until he said he will be proposing at the royal court. The largest, most luxurious place on ever after. Duchess arrived, wearing the gown that her mother used to wear on her wedding. It was fixed a little. Her father and mother came with her. There, they saw daring kneeling onto apple and about to put the ring on her hands. Duchess were sad about what she saw. It was until the bucket full of red paint poured into her white dress. Everybody laughs. Her parents were speechless. Even the teachers are laughing. Kitty and faybelle weren't impressed. It was just a prank after all, created by apple.. That day, duchess run to the forest crying with red paint still on her body. She didn't allow anyone to come with her, not even her two bestfriends , kitty and faybelle. Shs run to the forest where she and gale meet everyday when she was little. There, she saw gale in his wolf form and playing with the birds. He saw her as duchess run to him and hug him tightly. Duchess Swan and Lizzie Hearts are roommates at Ever After High. While their personalities are very different, they bond over not quite fitting in with the other Royals. Lizzie, however has one thing that Duchess doesn't : a happily-ever-after at the end of her story. While Lizzie, and the other princesses train for the day when they will rule their kingdoms, Duchess is torn between her role as the perfect, dutiful prince and princess and her rebellious ambition to be a human and queen of her kingdom. When the two are selected to attend General Villainy class, Duchess see an opportunity to be rebel while following the rules. But will she dance her way to be a beautiful and graceful white swan or will she tumble and fall into darkness as a black swan?

New sessions have started and new students are already pouring through. Everybody quite eager to know more about the legendary school which their parents once attended. Among them went Zuni Giselle,the daughter of Giselle who was destined to fall in love with a Duke who shall later betray her. It would deliver her into a state of shock due to which she shall die and become a spirit for ever after. Being inspired from Raven's struggle, Zuni too longs to break apart from this painful destiny and live her own written story.

Besides the fact that she is sometimes shy, Reyna is a sweet girl that could hang out with anyone but she has a big secret. After getting the truth out of the Narrator, Maddie tells Raven and Cerise so they go ask Reyna and she tells them her secret, Reyna will have trouble keeping it a secret since Duchess Swan and Faybelle Thorn detest her, and keep on making her look bad in front of others. But then things get worst when the Sisters J come and attack Ever After High with a power greater than anyone has ever seem. Will Reyna be able to keep her secret? They were best friends. And that's exactly what Shady wants from Raven. But will her thoughts change when she realizes that being evil isn't all it's cracked up to be. And what does Raven think? Add in a boy whose infatuated with her and a mother whose trying to break out of mirror prison. High School can be a lot harder than it looks. (Faybelle in this story is not a daughter of Maleficent.
