The two form a bond based around being the school's outcasts, but as they get closer, they also grow more powerful. In no time, the two become the school's most feared and respected mystery-busting duo. Sparks begin to fly and they soon realize there's more passion between them than just the passion they have for uncovering other people's secrets. But all that is cut short when it comes time for graduation. Mulder moves away to attend Oxford, leaving Selene all alone back home in Massachusetts.
