Ducklings Stories

Well, Robert is a new professor at a college and is starting a new life prior to a drug addiction. He meets a girl Maddy, who may help turn his life around.

This story written as a children's book about accepting who you are and the faults that can be turned into something more rare and beautiful than a swan.

Once upon a time in a peaceful pond, there lived a little duck named Daffodil. Daffodil was not an ordinary duck; she was born with the most beautiful yellow feathers that shimmered like the golden sun. Her eyes sparkled like two tiny stars, and her quacks were as melodious as a song. The other animals in the pond admired her beauty, and Daffodil basked in the attention. Until one day, a mysterious old turtle named Galadriel visited the pond.

William Fitzmallard has never fit in - not with his siblings, not with the other ducklings, and certainly not with the sky he dreams of touching. But as a dread flying creature seems to be looking for him, he must leave his pond and explore Mystmore - a world where animals speak, legends breathe, and destiny chooses the most unlikely heroes. Guided by a gentle beaver, a bardic frog, and the ancient Great Mother Shell, William discovers that the darkness stalking him is only the beginning. And the smallest duck in the flock may be the only one who can save them all. A whimsical, heartfelt fantasy about courage, friendship, and finding your wings - even when you were never meant to fly.

Reading this oldie that I wrote, takes me back to how much my poems have changed. It has been posted before, but had no recognition. That does not matter, as I think of each piece as my children. The ugly duckling was always a great story to me. I loved the ending of how the supposedly ugly duckling turned into a swan. The others soon regretted ever teasing it. Thus being the youngest in the family, this happens to a lot.

Megan Fletcher. She's what everyone here would describe as the "popular, airhead, cheerleader" but that's not true. Well, where she lives at least. Where she lives, she's the least popular, the outcast, the forgotten one. Odd thing is, she's head cheerleader and is would be very attractive to most. But if she's all that, why is she an outcast? Well, everyone else where she lives is that bookworm, happy ending, nerd girl, and most guys there dig that type of stuff. Except of course, one guy who is a total nerd but secretly a jock. Come and see what exactly they do to be on top.

One depressed girl in a new school has more secrets than she wants to let on. Its all she can do is keep her facade she creates of a happy, fun-loving teenager up and running. She only has one motto. Keep moving and trust no one. Sorry if I'm bad at descriptions!!! Fair warning, I'm going at a very fast pace, so I won't have enough time to edit this until it's completely finished. I'd appreciate if you leave HELPFUL comments on what I did wrong, it would definitely make the whole editing process easier. This does NOT mean you can tear into me for mistakes, though. Thanks!

Ratusca cea urata, stiu ca te gandesti la ce trebuie, da, chiar asa.. povestea aceea clasica, in care Anabella McCartney este o adolescenta care datorita celor din jurul ei nu a indraznit sa viseze, sa spere, sa se indragosteasca. Divortul parintilor ei o distruge, cand il surprinde pe tatal calcand stramb, lumea se destrama. .. dar mutarea poate fi vazuta ca pe un lucru bun. Si totusi, aceleasi reactii peste tot, aceleasi glume proaste acelasi comportament deplasat, aceleasi stereotipuri si clasamente sociale, aceleasi diferente facute de aspectul fizic. Dar ceva nou apare, sau mai bine zis, reapare. Un baiat, ce ii macina mintea de mai bine de 3 ani, ceva ce nu a uitat, dar imaginea ei in mintea lui se pare ca s-a ratacit prin amintiri. Treptat, ceilalti vor invata ca frumusetea din interior este mult mai importanta, iar daca esti frumos doar la exterior, iar in adancul tau putrezesti, acea "uratenie" ce zace adanc in tine, cu timpul te afecteaza, te doboara, te chinuie si nimic din frumusetea ta exterioara nu iti va fi de ajutor.

Pain How do I describe this word? How do I start? I've come to experience every pain in the world, so I don't think I can describe this by its simple description. Closing my eyes is the best thing that I could do right now. Every step I take is healing, drowning me to my thoughts. How can I continue my life?
