ascensionism: the tension between the desire for redemption and ascension and the longing to escape reality. adeline, along with her group crystalline, has dreamt of their childhood fantasy coming true. what started as a hobby soon became something more: a livelihood, a way of being. as her group's, and consequently her own, fame grows they are faced with their biggest opportunity, a performance at a festival in their own home state. but after the performance is over and an unexpected altercation occurs, adeline is introduced to new faces that she assumed would take no interest in her. where will these new blossoming friendships take everyone, and will anything more arise from the unlikely meeting? crystalline and nsb venture into this new closeness with another content group, the universe forwarding adeline into her search for self-peace, for something more, her own personal ascensionism. lapslock intended this is silly im ngl but i love having placeholders to write my lil plots in my silly brain (title credit to sleep token mwah)
