For those who know their way around Gringotts, you'll recognize that number as a very specific vault. This is a "What If" exploration where the boundaries of the Wizarding World have shifted, drawing inspiration from the epic themes and emotional weight found in the works of Tolkien. In this timeline, James and Lily didn't have a son; they had a daughter. Ivy Rose Potter. She is the spitting image of her mother-vivid red hair and green eyes, and the infamous scar, is in a different location. This timeline also explores a different path for the Dursleys. While Vernon remains obsessed with "normalcy" and sees Ivy as a freak and a pest, Petunia has chosen to treasure the niece who carries her sister's face. It is a domestic battlefield where loyalty and fear are constantly at war. There is light and darkness inside us all and in the quest for power who is to say what Iris will act on. The first ten chapters are very old and somewhat poorly written. The story is taking a new direction as Iris as a fifth year so now the first ten chapters are prologue that are not necessary to understand the main story. Feel free to read them or skip them, but I plan on leaving them up for now.
