The wizarding world has been safe from darkness since the defeat of Voldemort at the Battle of Hogwarts, but a new threat is bubbling up from under the surface. When students start to behave strangely and and an ancient power is born again, the next generation of witches and wizards must again fight to defend what their families and friends have died for. There is light and darkness inside us all and in the quest for power who is to say what Iris will act on. The first ten chapters are very old and somewhat poorly written. The story is taking a new direction as Iris as a fifth year so now the first ten chapters are prologue that are not necessary to understand the main story. Feel free to read them or skip them, but I plan on leaving them up for now.
