Draco feels Thea's hand hit his chest as she searches the darkness for stability. Her heart starts beating faster as she begins to panic, remembering the darkness of the Ministry of Mysteries. "Thea." Draco places his hand on the girl's waist, steadying her. Thea just barely hears the boy's voice as his grip on her waist is tight. Thea clenches her eyes closed, trying to slow her breathing. "Thea." Draco speaks a bit louder, and Thea opens her eyes to see Draco's grey ones looking down at her. The smoke begins to clear a bit, allowing the two some visibility. Thea involuntarily blushes as she sees how close the two are, looking up into the boy's greyish eyes. Draco's hand on her waist gives Thea butterflies, and the Malfoy boy looks at her with an emotion Thea can't quite place. Story chapters POV switches between Daisy, Dudley, Daisy's sister Poppy, and a few other recognized characters such as Prof. McGonagall and Harry Potter himself. Devon Dursley despised her parents, as their hatred for the wizarding world was all they could ever talk about. She was spoilt rotten, there's no doubt about that, just like her twin brother Dudley, but she never asked for anything, other than time to be driven to the local library so she could read to her hearts content. She read everything from true crime novels to fairy tales, encyclopaedias to poetry and everything in between. Never in her wildest dreams did she wonder what it would be like to be a part of a story filled with wizards and witches and magical creatures, as her life was too predictable for that. That's exactly why she never predicted it to change so suddenly from the likes of a single letter.

I've always wondered how it would be if infamous Sirius Black had a daughter, Rose, who was only two years older then the boy who lived, Harry Potter. Holly Potter was the older sister of Harry Potter. Voldemort never tried to kill her. He didn't even pose a threat to her. She presumes he doesn't even know she exists. Which also means, most of the wizarding world doesn't know who she is. Naturally, having Harry Potter as a little brother means she is more than often the second, or third, or maybe even last choice. Maybe that's not the case when she becomes best friends with Fred Weasley
