A plasma saber forged on the fly from superheated ionized gas when every other option runs out. Deon doesn't improvise. He calculates. But the hardest problem he faces has no electromagnetic solution. Five relics to return. A spectral echo of his own worst possibilities feeding on everything he does. He needs to find his way home.
