This is simply a collection of first chapters of Fan-Fiction that I am in the process of writing. It will be updated when I continue writing new material. It is just a forum for storing my current projects. People are welcome to recommend which pieces would be best continued first though writer's block is a real pain at the moment so don't expect miracles. As all fan-fiction I do not own any of the original concepts only the new storylines. Warning: As first chapters there should be no explicit material but swearing is something that happens in some of my stories, be warned.

Nunavut, Canada April 1999 Five hundred miles north of nowhere, frozen, hungry, and feeling useless, Ray Kowalski is ready to give up on searching for the lost Franklin Expedition and head back to Chicago. But when the ghost of Sir John Franklin appears, Ray and Fraser realize that only they can help him move on. Will finding the last link claim their lives - or show them the road back home again? On his first trip to Ottawa, Chicago Police Detective Ray Vecchio just wanted to get a medal and a little hero treatment for saving a train full of Mounties. But when terrorists take the Canadian Prime Minister hostage, it's up to Ray and a couple of unarmed Mounties to save the day. Set in 1996. Takes place between season 2 and season 3 of Due South. Written for the Due South Seekrit Santa 2024 gift exchange. I'm experimenting with serialized posting on Wattpad but the entire story is complete on AO3 if you don't want to wait for the next installment. Cover art created with Microsoft Designer and Canva.

Christmas 2024. A quick little sequel to my Northern Lights fic. Benton Fraser has prepared everything he needs for Meg and Elizabeth's holiday visit to Bear Falls, Yukon Territory-except for the decorations.

What advice did Benton Fraser give his daughter when she went to Chicago? This work appears in my post-canon serialized Due South novel, Northern Lights, as a letter of advice that Benton Fraser writes to his daughter Elizabeth before she travels to Chicago on the trail of her best friend's killers. I am posting it as a stand-alone work for fans who may be interested but don't want to read an entire novel. Can you guess where some of this advice comes from? For the context of this letter, see chapters 6 and 10 of Northern Lights.

Constable Elizabeth Fraser thought she'd spend her whole career policing the Canadian north. As a third generation Mountie, she knows how to track suspects through wilderness, handle a dog sled team, and press a scarlet tunic in a log cabin, but only knows American cities from family stories. Every day she strives to live up to her family legacy, but too often falls short of her own expectations. Yet when her best friend turns up dead, the trail leads to Chicago, where her old-fashioned skills are as welcome as a spring blizzard. The Chicago detective assigned to the case, an old friend's estranged son, wants nothing to do with Frasers or Mounties. To solve the case, she'll have to mend a broken family, adapt to a strange new place, while bringing her loyal wolf-dog and a dose of Yukon politeness, duty, and honour to the big city. In this Due South fan fiction, thirty years after Benton Fraser went to Chicago, his daughter follows in his footsteps. Content level (violence, profanity, sexual content) is similar to the TV show (on the clean side of mid-90s prime time network TV). No explicit sexual content or graphic violence. One from the vault... Synopsis: Chicago's best detective team of cop, Mountie and wolf gets a helping hand from an Immortal when a headless corpse shows up in the stinking heat of a Chi-town summer, and things only get more complicated when cop, Mountie and wolf all find themselves quite enamored of the newest Highlander. Murder, mystery and romance all tangle together in a case that only gets more convoluted -and dangerous- the closer they get to the murderer... FYI - this particular story is a straight-up novel, when I was experimenting with writing crossovers and novelizations of TV shows and movies. It was a lot of fun, and amusing to see how many different entertainment references I could slide in...
