In which: grief is like the ocean, it comes in waves, ebbing and flowing. Sometimes the water is calm and sometimes it's overwhelming. All you can do is learn to swim.
Or in which: Duff has never felt loneliness so crushing. Adjusting to an empty bed, an empty house, is soul sucking and heart crushing. It is a pain unlike any other. Everything he sees and hears is a reminder of what he lost. It is an anguish fueled, panic ridden, never ending nightmare.
