This poem is written from the perspective of the late Denis Thatcher on his relationship with Britain's most polarising Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher. Known for being media shy, Denis is finally given a voice to articulate the couple's first encounter, his wife's rise to power and subsequent reign in government.
