A collection of poems following the process of getting over someone you once considered to be your other half.
This is based on my own life and my own experience falling in love with my best friend. But life is never really that "simple" and it gets more complicated by the fact that 1. We're both queer 2. She was an exchangestudent who needed to move back home after the school-year was over 3. When her mental health drops she copes by shutting people out 4. Before she left we exchanged 'I love you's' and a promise to grow old together, even if neither of us acknowledged that it was more than platonic love until years after.
(The timeline starts off after she left)

It tells a story about love, heartbreak, loneliness, longing, dumb decisions made without regret and how life just sucks sometimes.
Basically, I fell in love with my best friend. I fell hard and fast - I fell all the way through hell and back - and I don't regret it.
