Some loves bloom in gardens. Theirs bloomed on battlefields.
"You were my home long before I ever knew what that word meant."
- Sirius Black
"And you were the storm I let destroy me, just to feel alive."
- Althea Blaire Alnus
Althea Blaire Alnus was born to command - a daughter of ancient magic, old money, and quiet steel. Sirius Black was born to rebel - a runaway heir with a wolf's grin and haunted eyes. They were never meant to find sanctuary in each other. And yet, they did.
From moonlit waltzes in golden halls to the bloodied ruins of war-torn nights, theirs was a love built on shared fire and sealed with unspoken promises. But not all love stories end in kisses. Some end in screams. In silence. In years lost to shadows.
With a world which is choosing sides, tyrants on the rise and brutal killings are being discussed like the weather, will their love also meet its heart wrenching yet inevitable end?

"You know, you're not as reckless as I thought, Black. Stupid, yes. But not reckless.", She said, as soon as they collapsed on the red couch in front of the fireplace, their breaths heaving. Sirius raised an eyebrow.
"Merlin Alnus! Did you just give me a compliment?" Althea shrugged.
"Just said the truth. You're not reckless. You're... Quite brave. Like a soldier.", She said, feeling quite impressed with the boy in front of her.
"And you, Althea are not as stuck up as I thought. You're actually quite wise. Almost like a... Queen.", He said, for the first time saying something he only used to joke about with sincerity.
