Gracie and Alex lost their parents years and years ago by a car accident which the whole family were in who died except the children who got taken to hospital then taken to a children home where they met Gina and Mike. Gracie is special she is deaf in one ear and very quiet doesn't trust new people it takes a long time since she went through a hard experience at a home she went to to stay but came back to children home that was safe for her and has never left.

{I wrote this a couple years ago, before the new series of the dumping ground and I realise now I like the new series. This story is going under edit, changing from Tracy Beaker Returns to The Dumping Ground. So instead of Tracy, Mike and Gina, this story will include Mike and May-Li as the caregivers.
